Avon Grove tops DHSW 209-220 in first meeting of the year

The Boys Varsity Golf Team from Avon Grove delivered a sharp 209 score to hand the Whippets their first loss of the 2011 season. Leading the way as low man was freshman Doug Simpson, however the 220 team score was not sharp enough to compete on a beautiful, sunny post Irene afternoon at Whitford CC.

Downingtown HS West Boys Varsity Golf improves to 2-0

Despite lingering effects of hurricane Irene, the DHSW Boys Varsity Golf team improved their Ches-Mont record to 2-0 with a 229 – 250 win vs. Pottstown HS. The first day of classes brought an eager team to the course, and the visiting team prevailed under challenging course conditions. Congratulations!
